Mosaic Series: Building a D+I Strategy for D+I Success

August 22, 2019

8:00 am - 10:30 am

Toledo Zoo - Great Hall - Museum of Science

AAF is excited to host its second annual Mosaic Seminar, featuring keynote speaker Margarita De Leon (bio below.) Margarita’s address will focus on “Building a D&I Strategy for D&I Success.”  Many organizations embark on diversity initiatives without understanding the steps necessary to ensure success. This conversation will focus on best practice strategies, and frameworks, needed for diversity, equity and inclusion to be part of the organization’s long-term vision. Margarita will also be accompanied by four expert panelists, who will share their industry insights on how D&I tactics impacts their daily work: From analyzing a company’s diversity before buying their products, to appropriately marketing to various communities.

Attendees can also enjoy a continental breakfast in the Toledo Zoo’s recently renovated Great Hall within its Museum of Science.

Our goal is to educate advertising professionals on their responsibility to cultivate, and advocate for, diverse talent within their fields. For our industry to stay competitive and lucrative; this requires the creative intelligence of all individuals, from all backgrounds and walks of life.
