August Message from the President

Posted by Director on August 2, 2019

So, where did August come from?!? What better way to soak up the last half of summer than sand volleyball? We have our annual volleyball tournament, AdBASH this Thursday (August 8th). If you don't have a team, you can still come out and hang! I’ll be bartending so make sure to say hi and let me know if there’s anything we can do to better serve you as a member.

You should have received your membership renewal invoice in the mail by now. Please make sure you renew as soon as you can to reap the benefits of a full year of membership. Patty is still behind the scenes helping us process those, so no need to wait until we announce our new Director (which will be next month, so stay tuned). Renew now!

Our next Mosaic event will be August 22nd. We would love it if you could join us for a continental breakfast in the newly rennovated Great Hall of the Promedica Museum of Natural History at the Toledo Zoo as we discuss Building a D+I Strategy for D+I Success. After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Promedica Museum of Natural History.

Our Internship Event isn’t until November, but we’re looking for panelists now. If you’re interested in inspiring future marketing leaders, or know someone who would be a great panelist, please fill out the application or contact one of the board members.

Want to get more involved with AAF? We’d love your ideas and are always looking for help with organizing, promoting and executing our events. If you’re interested in serving on a committee, feel free to reach out to me personally at melanie@mailworksii.com and I can send you more information.
