Nick Amrhein Photographer + Director Wins Silver National ADDY Award

AAF Toledo member and photographer / director, Nick Amrhein, was awarded a Silver National ADDY Award for his Photography Campaign Bravery & Bullets Combat Vet Series.  The award was announced Friday, June 7th at the National ADDY Award Show in Hollywood, FL.

This is the third level of ADDY competition the campaign has won with a Gold ADDY and  Judge’s Choice Award at the local level in Toledo, OH and a Gold ADDY at the AAF District Five ADDY Awards competition in March. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club/Chapter competitions.The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

Heavily tattooed skateboarder, Harley rider and Type 1 diabetic, Nick Amrhein started by filming skateboarding at the age of 15. He interned at Loyalty Creative in California under celebrity photographer Kevin Ou and eventually started his own business in 2010. Today he considers himself a commercial / advertising photographer and director, creating imagery to successfully portray a brand, product or personal message.
