Members of AAF Toledo have won one Gold ADDY, four Silver and one Student Silver ADDY Awards in the 2019 American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) District 5 Competition. AAF Toledo forwarded 7 local Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Student Gold entries to the 5th District competition. A total of 310 professional and 71 student entries were judged in Dayton on March 22 and 23. Fifth District consists of AAF clubs in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Entries that won Gold ADDY Awards at the local level were automatically entered into the 5th District AAF competition. Local Silver ADDY Award winning entries were also eligible to enter. All District Gold ADDY winning entries automatically advance to the National ADDY Awards competition. Winners of National ADDYs will be announced at the 2019 AAF National Conference on June 7 in Hollywood, FL.
About the Award:
The American Advertising Awards (ADDYs), is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the AAF, the local phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.
